At the same time, demand loyal Camry traditional characteristics such as ergonomic control layout and silent, butter rose. Serving two masters Camry will be the key to sustainable success. Based on the sporty Camry SE four-cylinder-only Special Edition up anxiety quotient with a striking 18-inch wheels, smoked rear lights, which SES sport-tuned suspension and vibrant blue interior trim. Interior Design and Special Features

2016 Toyota Camry provides one of the most comfortable and spacious huts of every middle class family sedan. Theres plenty of headroom and legroom in front and not much less in the back, where adults even higher would be content to ride for a long time. In addition, a rear-facing child seat will fit in the back easily. Rear headrests still make it difficult to properly secure a forward-facing child seat, though. Space in the trunk, at 15.4 cubic feet, average for a midsize sedan. From the drivers point of view, most of the great many physical buttons, easy to understand at a glance and friendly gloves. Climate control designed for thoughtful deserves special praise, their simple intuitive operation. On the technology front, the Camry received standard version of the 6.1-inch touchscreen Toyota Entune infotainment system, with 7-inch touchscreen upgrade specified in some trim levels. Arent graphics crisp as the best segment, but like other Camry control interface, the screen is relatively simple and easy to use.
Driving Impressions

Thanks to improvements last year, the 2016 Toyota Camry more responsive to driver input than previous versions, not to mention quieter when going around corners. This is especially true of the SE, and the Special Edition trim XSE, the dial up even further driver involvement with their sport-tuned suspension. If true sporty is what you're after, you will still likely be rivals such as the Ford Fusion and Mazda 6, but Toyota has closed the gap significantly. Of course, the Camry has traditionally been known for comfort and tranquility, and fortunately the traits that are still abundantly present. Even sport-tuned trims have a supple ride, but if you want the suspension creamiest possible, LE and XLE certainly delivers. Under the hood, the base four-cylinder accelerates well enough, but the optional V6 is the star of the show with ease and thrust his seemingly endless. Either way, the six-speed transmission is quite smooth and especially fast to downshift.

2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition Review, Specs and Price

2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition | Reviews

The Toyota Camry has been long revered as a reliable but dull fleet filler and the suburban transport appliance of choice. The 2016 Camry Special Edition is Toyota’s latest attempt to broaden the four-door sedan’s appeal and add a little edge to its reputation. Building on the solid base provided by the new-for-2015 Camry, the 2016 Camry Special Edition gets most of its special from a collection of cosmetic enhancements and technology features. It wouldn’t be special without a bespoke paint color, and this Camry gives buyers a choice of two: Blizzard Pearl or Blue Streak Metallic. Accenting the exterior finish is a set of 18-inch aluminum wheels featuring a unique machined and painted fascia, a smoked-taillamp treatment, and, to make sure passersby don’t mistake you for just another plebe, the all-important Special Edition exterior badge. The interior looks reasonably swanky, with exclusive seats that feature black bolsters and blue patterned inserts. They also get the same blue accent stitching that appears on the shift boot and the dash.

A unique blue-on-white cluster populates the instrument panel, and floor mats with a Special Edition logo don’t let your feet forget just how exceptional they are. Keyless entry and push-button start are present—no surprise here, as they are standard issue on the SE—as is Toyota’s Qi wireless charging. Sadly, the Special Edition status doesn’t extend to the powertrain, as this Camry makes due with the same 2.5-liter four-banger and six-speed automatic transmission—no hybrid or V-6 available here—that motivates its less-special brethren. While Toyota’s projected limited production figure of 12,000 units may seem perplexingly large for a special edition of anything, it’s important to remember that when dealing with giants, scale is everything. In 2014, Toyota sold almost 400,000 Camrys in the U.S. alone; by that measure, the Camry Special Edition would constitute just about 3 percent of total volume. Production is scheduled to begin in August and run through January of 2016. We expect to have pricing details shortly after the car debuts at the 2015 Chicago auto show.

2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid Review, Specs and Price

2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid | Reviews

Toyota Camry is not a best-selling car in America for the better part of two decades to fall short of customer expectations. In terms of reputation of reliability, resale value, roominess, fuel economy, practicality, and nearly every other metric that the main buyers concerned, Camry ranks at or near the top of the charts. But some people, certainly not us, would argue that Toyota evergreen family sedan has been must-have-seen or quality of the sports-sedan. To overcome that perception, Toyota Camry facelift has given the four corners of the Cape before 2015 and will be a sporty yellow face this year belonged to a longer, lower, and angry-looking snout, lightweight wrinkled and folded hood, new chiseled and sculpted flanks, and a wider stance. Inside, there is a new cheer, too, with more soft-touch surfaces, accent stitching, and bright silver trim. Redo also includes the hybrid Camry, there are now three trim levels: LE, XLE and SE recently, the subject of this test. SE adds some red mist for a green image with mesh grille, dark chrome trim, spoiler, and 17-inch aluminum wheels. All 2015 Camry received a rigid structure acts through additional spot welds in key areas, such as hoods and door openings. Toyota also massaging electric power steering and adds dual-stage brake booster in an effort to create a more linear pedal response. SE hybrid gets specific suspension bushings, shock valving, and rear anti-roll bars tuned to smidgeon good response. Rose is a shade faster than other Camry but still optimized for comfort. Steering response, while linear, feels a bit wooden. And the response of the brake-pedal, even with the Toyota practice of blending of regenerative and hydraulic systems, has felt a bit isolated.

We want to report that the SE hybrid sporty appearance is matched with the same driving experience more interesting. But it did not happen, and the number of tests revealed no additional liveliness, either. According to our gear, 2015 hybrid Camry SE is managed the same 178-foot 70-to-0-mph stopping distance and 0.78 g of lateral grip latest Camry Hybrid we tested, a XLE model 2012. In a sense, all of the sporty hybrid Camry nonhybrid four-cylinder models thanks to a more powerful drivetrain. While conventional four-cylinder Camry to make do with only 178 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque, the 200 horses combined gas-electric hybrid powertrain and meaty low-end torque from the electric motor to get this gas-sipper on line quickly. At 7.2 seconds from rest to 60 mph, the 2015 Camry Hybrid is a full second faster to the mark of nonhybrid four-cylinder Camry. But do not forget the main reason that seven percent of Camry sales so far this year's model is a hybrid: fuel economy. Although tweaks Toyota visited in SE hybrid models including a wider, 215/55 rubber its EPA mileage rating at 40/38 mpg city / highway as a hybrid version of the XLE. While they are not a 43/39-mpg figure headline-grabbing of the hybrid Camry LE that rolls on thin, revolving ultra-low-resistance 205 / 65-16 tires, it is a great improvement over the base 2.5-liter 25 / rank 35 -mpg. Within a few hundred miles of testing, we averaged 31 mpg with a hybrid SE, 5-mpg more efficient than the last conventional four-cylinder Camry we evaluated. Sporty model has accumulated more and more from selling Camry non-hybrid, so Toyota may be on to something by offering a hybrid version of the SE. When we can swing one against the Ford Fusion hybrid, hybrid Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima hybrid we will be able to see whether the Camry SE touch the red mist to help it win the battle of the green sedan.
